FWIW Ronald, I think Obama would do just fine at the Magnolia Farmer's Market. My precinct went 70-30 for him at the caucus and the split at the district level was all the wider.

Plus, you know, upper-middle-class liberals love it when we can show how diverse we are, unless the diversity is in the form of people of color knocking on our doors.

Got this from Ethan Lowry, over at UrbanSpoon:
I just read your post on the Seattlest about the NYT article on politics and food. Did you see that we got mentioned in the accompanying article?

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/16/dining/16vside.html

Referencing this post:

http://www.urbanspoon.com/blog/23/Do-latte-drinkers-really-vote-for-Obama.html

Kind of cool to get noticed by the Gray Lady, made us feel a thrill of legitimacy.

Hope you're doing well,
Ethan

Sometimes we shop at Safeway, sometimes at Whole Foods, but that doesn't mean we don't healthy-heart Obama.

word. i MOSTLY shop at safeway, have never shopped at WF, and find mccain terrifying.
