I stand corrected. Didn't realize they also fly the ERJ-190. Thanks.

"No middle seat" means smaller airplanes with less headroom, not larger seats. If you're claustrophobic, a narrower tube may be worse for you.

Like Saxtor said Yes they have been in service for awhile in SEA. They currently also fly to Boston.

I'm a homer as wish they flew Boeing planes vs. an all airbus fleet. Oh well.

They won't have middle seats because they will be flying the smaller plane, Embraer ERJ-190, which I've flown up and down the east coast. They only have 2 seats on each side of the plane, but comfortable ones at that. This ain't your Horizon Air prop plane.

I have an Alaska Air credit card and a Jetblue credit card, maybe it's time to get rid of one.

my bad saxtor, I don't fly much. I didn't realize they already had routes out of Seattle and the stories I used for information didn't make that clear.

I find the phrasing of this curious. JetBlue has been flying out of Seattle for many years. The SEA > NYC route has been the staple of several of my East Coast friends ever since they started. Okay, so they announced SEA to SoCal routes...big whoop. JetBlue is nothing new, that's for sure.

Convenient that this announcement comes the day before Virgin America starts its LAX-SEA route....
