FILM: The Killing of John Lennon is about to wrap up its run at the Northwest Film Forum. "Meticulously researched and filmed over three years on locations where the events occurred, this is a gritty and imaginative examination of a celebrity stalker's mind leading up to the kill and a look into his descent into madness." The voiceover narration is based on interviews with Chapman. Here's the trailer.

SCIENCE: Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku takes on the far-out and far-afield: invisibility, teleportation, mind reading, psychokinesis, time travel, you name it. (The cover of his book features a TARDIS-like object popping out of a wormhole, Dr. Who being ground zero for impossible physics.) Kaku explores the physics involved, and then estimates when they might become possible, or when we can determine which are truly impossible.
