Beacon Hill Groper Strikes Again
Another woman was attacked early this morning, in the latest string of violent assaults against Asian women on Beacon Hill. Around 2am, a 55-year-old woman was attacked outside her home when she returned from work.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was grabbed from behind, groped, and pushed to the ground. When she tried to scream, the attacker covered her mouth and cut off her air supply by elbowing her in the chest. Luckily, the woman's neighbor heard the late-night commotion and scared off the attacker. Before being interrupted, the attack had lasted over 15 minutes, leaving the woman cut, bruised, and frightened.
Similar to the previous two dozen attacks before hers, last night's victim did not get a clear look at the suspect. However, the neighbor who interrupted the attack saw the assailant jump into a car and speed away. They were able to get the car's license plate number, which will hopefully bring an end to this frightening string of assaults.
