With Obama's Brother-in-Law Out, Huskies Can Focus on Valpo
With none of the excitement of the NCAA Tournament, and probably half of the NIT Tournament, the Huskies will open play in the first round of the inaugural CBI Tournament tonight at Hec Ed.
The opponent will be Valparaiso, best known for their incredible buzzer beater in the 1998 NCAA Tournament (the shot is at the 2:12 mark).
Awesome to watch, but is there any way to, y'know, Hollywood it up a bit?
Perfect!
The Times has a preview, and there are other assorted goodies on Bob Condotta's wonderful Husky Basketball blog.
One more CBI note -- With Ohio's victory over Brown last night, it means that Barack Obama's brother-in-law, Coach Craig Robinson, has been knocked out of the tournament.
Tonight 6pm @ Hec Ed. Tickets $15.
