Get Your Erin On, Laddy

We're exactly one-quarter Irish, which we think means we need to spend at least 25% of today in bright green clothes, sipping Guinness and eating potatoes and hash. Luckily, there's no shortage of events going on in and around town to satisfy part-Irish like us.

We were going to try to compile a list of bands playing at local bars, and other St. Patty's Day events about town but alas! Seattle Times beat us to it. From their list, we recommend Kell's, where the best music is undeniably going down. If the market tourist thing isn't your scene, our friends Creeping Time are playing at T.S. McHugh's Irish Pub near Seattle Center. Conor Byrne in Ballard is going to have a DJ spinning Irish rock (there's really more to it than just the Pogues, not that we don't love us some Pogues). And don't forget all the college kids are bound to be throwing down at Finn MacCool's.

A full list of events after the jump...
