Happy Birthday, L Ron--Anonymous Seattle Celebrates

It's L Ron Hubbard's birthday today. If you're looking for an opportunity and excuse to celebrate, look no further.

Remember Anonymous? Those Scientology protests they did just a couple of weeks ago? Well, they're back and you, too, can join in today.

There's about one more hour of demonstrations going on at the following locations (accroding to seattlediy.com):

Informing The Public about the corruption of The Church of Scientology:

Where: Seattle Center broad street side near the Space Needle.
When: SC Start time: 9:30am Ending around 12:00 noon.
What: Our main target is the Church’s tax exemption status. Bring lots of handouts for the public.

Marching Through The Streets

Where: Westlake Center
When: Gather between 10:00-10:30am, begin walk around 10:30am and arrive at the church around 11:00am.
What: Informing the public at Westlake before taking the message to the streets. Lots of flyers and signs are needed.

Main protest

Where: Church of Scientology Washington 601 Aurora Ave N Seattle, WA 98109
When: Between 11am and Noon all groups will be walking from SC or Westlake to the church on Aurora.
What: Human rights abuses of the church. We need more signs then handouts here as there is very little foot traffic. Lets try to have some civil conversations with the scientologists this time. Again, CIVIL conversations, we want to help, not hurt or degrade them.
End time: When the last person leaves with a scilon tail.

It's all called "Operation: Party Hard," and the organizers recommend you not park near the locations, not give your name to anyone, make sure you're not being followed, stay on the sidewalk, don't break the law, call out stupid people trying to be leaders, bring a camera or video camera, and never EVER, no matter what they say to you or what they do....NEVER feed them after midnight.
