Candidate Dreams Give Subconscious Glimpse of Seattle

In the New Yorker's Talk of the Town this week, they mention the IdreamofHillaryIdreamofBarack website, at which people who have dreamed of either candidate are invited to share what went down (and recently, for balance, McCain dreamers are invited to contribute, too).

It's pretty much what you'd expect, but the sole Seattle mention so far is disheartening. It doesn't say if the contributor is from Seattle or not, but either way, is this really how we want the world to see us? Titled "From an Obama Supporter," it reads:

Hillary Clinton came to my apartment, smoked a bowl with me and a couple friends, then she gave me an iPhone. We walked around Seattle for a while. I woke up with a strange feeling of satisfaction that it would be okay if she wins.

So far the dream composite of Hillary "wears bad perfume but good lipstick, has great skin, is often hungry (she likes spare ribs), but has bad table manners, and, when doing chores (say, cleaning the attic) is fun to be around."

Dream Obama is, in contrast: "a teacher, eight feet tall, with a foul mouth, smoker." The McCain section is new and not as detailed, but we do learn that McCain and Billy Idol are the same guy.
