Gruesome Murders Unfold in Parkland

Unfortunately, the following story is not a plot-outline for next weeks Law & Order or CSI. Rather it's the gruesome fate a young army couple met this weekend in Parkland, WA.
Randi and Timothy Miller were shot in their home this weekend and then doused in muriatic acid, in hopes that the evidence of their killing would be destroyed. The suspect, Spc. Ivette Gonzalez Davila, also kidnapped the couple's young child, Cassidy. Davila was arrested on Sunday by military police, after another soldier reported seeing Davila bringing baby items into her barracks.
Spc. Davila was denied bail at a preliminary hearing yesterday and will be arraigned tomorrow on suspicion of two counts of aggravated 1st Degree Murder and kidnapping charges. The Miller's child, was unharmed during the event and is currently in the custody of child protective services.
Both of the victims had recently served and survived tours of duty in Iraq as medics. There is no clear motive for the killings, Davila who is now accused of killing the Millers was an acquaintance of the couple. When she was arrested, a pistol, Randi Miller's purse, and a receipt from Home Depot for muriatic acid was found in Davila's barrack.
