Steroids in Baseball, Not Necessarily a Bad Thing

Before steroids exploded on to the scene in the 1990s, teams like the 1986 Los Angeles Dodgers often contended for a playoff spot.

Just two years later they would win the World Series.

Think about that the next time you're watching a journeyman middle infielder smack a 450 foot home run.

Growing up as a huge baseball fan, my favorite player was always Ed Begley, Jr. What a talent....

That's maybe the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. And as a Dodgers fan, that's saying a lot.

Those ball girls though... they weren't so bad.
