Get Out Sunday: The Academy Awards at the Bottleneck Lounge

It seems like it was just last week that we were gushing over the Bottleneck Lounge. Oh yeah, that was just last week. Well, we're talking about them again. In honor of the Gay Superbowl, the Central District bar is hosting a party:

Please join us for live coverage of The Academy Awards on our flat screen TV this Sunday at the Bottleneck.

Hosted by Jon Stewart and bartended by Cam, the evening promises to be a delight. Enjoy our Red Carpet Special (a sparkling glass of Segura Viudas Brut Cava accompanied by a Smoked Salt Caramel by Fran's Chocolates) or choose from one of five Best Picture Drinks that evening. We'll be bringing back The PeeWee (a shot of Patron and an icy cold Corona w/lime) in homage to No Country for Old Men and serving up flutes of Lemongrass Dry Soda in honor of Juno (non-alcoholic, natch). As it's a Sunday, the $10 bloody mary/grilled cheese combo is in effect all day. Sunday's also the Bottleneck's weekly Game Night, so if the awards don't keep your attention (not another montage!), there's always Apples to Apples, Uno, or Battleship.
