He’ll be heading to Cleveland along with Delonte West. In exchange the Sonics get cap room and some spare parts. It’s a smart trade with an eye towards the future-- so feel good citizens of Oklahoma.
Here is the whole deal:
Seattle gets: Donyell Marshall and Ira Newble from Cleveland and Adrian Griffin from Chicago.
Cleveland gets: Wally Szczerbiak, Delonte West, and Ben Wallace and Joe Smith from Chicago.
Chicago gets: Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Cedric Simmons, and Shannon Brown all from Cleveland.
Racist fans mourning this trade cheer up, yesterday the Sonics got Brent Barry from the Spurs for Kurt Thomas.

I hate the Sonics ownership. Their desire to rip the heart out of the fans while tanking aggressively to get a lottery pick is just bad all around.

Is the implication that if one likes Szczerbiak and doesn't embrace the overwhelming mediocrity of Marshall, Newble and Griffin, then he/she is obviously a racist?

Seattle loves the white guy, which is why Ridnour gets the loudest cheers even though he is inconsistent/timid/sucks while being the highest -paid guy on the team.
