It's Waste of Time Tuesday

DennisKucinich.jpgOver the weekend we got an email from our friend in Wisconsin asking, "Why does Washington have a caucus and a primary? I don't get it. How does this work?"

Uh, it has something to do with a pissing match between the state legislature and the state parties? We really don’t know, so we sent her this article, and changed the subject.

No Democratic delegates will be handed out tonight, and the Republican winner will get half of the state's delegates, not that it matters anymore.

You might as well vote to justify why we're spending ten million dollars on this thing. Sorry poor people.

Here is a reason to slightly nudge the vote.

Clinton-- A victory here could be used as a public relations stunt.

Obama-- To prevent the above mentioned public relations stunt.

McCain-- Practice for November

Huckabee-- The end of days is near.

Absentee ballots must be postmarked by today, or you can drop your ballot off at any voting location.

I'm confused by your use of DK.

Is it because he was a waste of a vote (if so, I'll meet you out by the monkey bars after class)?

Is it because he fights for the little man and would say this is a waste of taxpayer's dollars?

Is it because he reminds you of the "waste not, want not" philosophy? - he reuses tea!

Is it because his wife is really, really good looking?

Is it because he's your hero too?

Is it because you changed the subject to Dennis Kuccinich?

Why?! I must know!

I'm voting for Dennis Kucinich just for the thrill of darkening a little oval next to his name, finally.
