Seattlest grew up in Central Florida and, even though we haven't lived there for many, many years, we still crave the sunshine. Maybe it's because our body expects more vitamin D? We certainly don't want to add to the choruses of imported souls who bitch and moan about Seattle winters. Nonetheless, we wind up doing so, anyway, every year around mid-January.
But, we've come to delight in February, which always gives us a week or so of respite from the dreary weeks of darkness that have, in the past, driven us to tanning booths, just for a fix of that UV-crack.
Well, that week in February is here. It started the other day, it's taking a bit of a rest today. But come tomorrow, and for the rest of this three-day weekend, we'll be getting some of that ol' yeller sun. Reference the forecast we've included for your information.
So, what are you doing this weekend? May we suggest hitting up some of our gorgeous local parks. Few things are better soul food than heading outdoors on a gorgeous day and seeing our lovely local greenspaces awash with pretty, happy people tossing frisbees, hip-swirling their hula-hoops, and lying around reading books. This Seattlest? We'll be heading to Bainbridge for a Valentine weekend getaway.

Tuesdays are Muppet Days

Yay! I'm going skiing at Baker this weekend. Should be beautiful.
