As our friend who sent us the info announced this news, so shall we:
"GAY GASP! Hillary's coming to town tonight!"
Okay, so we were at an event on Saturday, when Maria Cantwell joined longtime local Hillstumpers Jay Inslee and Ron Sims for a chat about Mrs. Clinton's Clean Energy Plan. A young woman who claimed to be a UW student stood up and asked the three if they could do something to get Hillary to come to town and rally for support of Seattle's young people. Who knows if that did it, or whether it was just that Hill needs to fight for delegates at this point (despite the fact that, by all accounts, she is leading the delegate race).
While we're well aware of the Obamalove going around, we're confident there are plenty of other Seattleites who are hyped up for Hillary. So, come join us at Pier 30 tonight at 8 PM, and rally for our girl.
Tonight, Feb. 7 // 8-10 PM // Pier 30 Downtown // Free!
Also....for those of you feeling the Obamalove, there will be plenty of others like you at Key Arena tomorrow morning at the Stand For Change rally. Skip out of work or school, or whatever it is you do that can't possibly be as important as hearing a man speak who is either our next president, or the head of a major movement. It's free, it starts at 11 AM. Leave your bags, signs and banners at home. We're sure they'll hand you a big ol' official sign to wave around, if you want it. More info at BarackObama.com.
Friday, Feb. 8 // 11 AM // Key Arena // Free!

I'm going to try to be there. If I can figure out where it is.
the map on her website says the address is 2431 E Marginal Way South. check it
Am I the only "Lost" addict who would be there if only she'd started at 6 so I could be home by 9?
(Priorities askew, perhaps...)
You just might be the only Lost addict who doesn't have a TiVo.
