Dan, it should be. I'd guess things will be over by 2:30. You can always leave when you need to-- better to come and participate than not be there at all.

What I don't get is, Why doesn't the WA Democratic Party eliminate the caucus and make use of the primary election? Or, at least make a better effort at educating folks that their vote for a Democrat in the primary means nothing.

How long does the whole thing take? Say I've only got 2 hours to devote to Democracy on Saturday--Will it be enough?

One other thing to know that I just found out from the WA State Dems: If you've recently moved and not yet updated your voter registration, you should go to the caucus site for your new address, not the old one. The parties don't care where you are registered (or, as Katie noted, if you are yet registered). They just want you to take part as long as you have legal residence in the State of Washington. Do bring ID (just in case) and someone there can help you change the address of your registration. Or you can check out the County to do it.
