One week from today, Seattlest is looking forward to heading over to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in our "Just Vote for the Bitch" t-shirt to be the lone Capitol Hill caucuser for Hillary Clinton. More on that later.
Today, there's a talk in South Seattle featuring some of The Hillinator's local politistar supporters. We told you the other day about how John Kerry was here to pump up support for Obama, so it's only fair we pass on this info, too. Senator Maria Cantwell, Representative Jay Inslee and Executive Ron Sims will be talking about Hillary's Clean Energy Plan this afternoon 3:15-4:00 PM at Seattle Machinists Hall, 9125 15th Place South.
If you're still on the fence and you love the environment, it's a good opportunity to ask some questions and get some real information. Maybe they'll even have snacks!

Not trying to censor your shirt or anything like that, but, I've always thought of Mt. Zion as a fairly conservative (not politically so) place.
It would seem that simply as a matter of respect for your host you might consider a t-shirt without the word "bitch". I realize that the caucus might not be in the sanctuary but, still.
When my daughters have performed with a guest choir at Mt. Zion, they were told quite explicitly by their own choir director: "You wear a dress!".
However, I'm sure for this occasion jeans would be fine.
