John Kerry to Make "Fever Pitch" in Seattle and Tacoma Tomorrow
This Seattlest has long been a Hillary supporter, so you could imagine our surprise when we started getting seemingly random emails on behalf of the Obama campaign. We were annoyed at first, until we remembered being a leftover on the John Kerry mailinglist from 2004. Kerry, of course, announced his endorsement of Obama recently, and he won't stop emailing us about his excitement and dedication.
It's fine, though, because we'll just pass the info onto you. We'll assume many of you are interested in knowing how you can dedicate every waking moment between now and next Saturday's caucuses to the Obama campaign. And so it is with great personal restraint that we share with you info about an Obama-related event. From the email, in the words of John Kerry:
At 9:30 [it doesn't say, but we assume that's 9:30 a.m.], I'll be in Seattle at a town hall meeting at the HUB Auditorium of the University of Washington. Doors open at 9, and the event is free and open to the public. If you can make it, try to RSVP at http://my.barackobama.com/seattletownhall.And then, just before 4 in the afternoon, I'll be in Tacoma at the Tacoma City Association of Colored Women Club, which is at 2316 S Yakima. Doors open at 3:30 and, again, it's free and open to the public.
Meanwhile, this Seattlest's personally preferred candidate has stuff going on around town, too. There's an LGBTs For Hillary event at Purr tomorrow, and all manner of other Hillary Clinton campaign events going on all weekend.
