Theft of 1,613 Panties Earns Pullman Man 45 Days in Jail

The AP's Odd News department may as well just set up a bureau in Pullman. Last week, a Wazzu student gets busted for pot twice in one night.

This week, sentencing for Garth Flaherty, who was nabbed after reports of underwear thefts in laundry rooms near the Wazzu campus.

Cops later determined that he's stolen 1,613 panties. For that, he gets 45 days in jail. By our math, that's 40 minutes per undergarment.
