How soon before someone opens a theme restaurant where everything cooks on engine blocks?

kasa, I will keep your recipe in mind to try once my stomach is accepting solid foods again.

Samantha, look, almost *anything* is improved by cooking it on an engine block. But I don't own a car, so I hafta rely on simpler fare.

My favorite frito pie is when you heat the chili in a disposable pie tin on the engine block during a road trip and then toss the fritos in during a rest stop. Takes about 40 minutes to get the chili nice and hot.

Due to sogginess issues, the best frito pie is served to be created by the individual and eaten immediately. Also the more basic, the better. I am a fan of veggie chili heated in the microwave, placed on fritos along with cheese and white onions - done, delicious. It's one of those things thats just not meant for restaurants.
