It struck us halfway through Green Bay's 5th straight drive for a touchdown that Brett Favre's performance in this game was a lot like Roger Clemens' one-hit performance against the Mariners in the 2000 ALCS.
When faced with a Hall-of-Famer at his best, what can you do?
Favre was 18-23, throwing pinpoint pass after pinpoint pass: timing routes, hitting guys in stride, and, in the highlight that will come to represent this game, breaking out of Brandon Mebane's arms, stumbling toward the sideline and under-handing the ball to his tight end for a first down.
"Which of the Seahawks would you say played well," we asked the other guys at Seattlest HQ as the clock wound down. The consensus:
Matt Hasselbeck: 19-33 for 194 yards--more yards than Favre, actually.
Ben Obomanu: 4 catches for 67 yards after taking over for Deion Branch.
Marcus Trufant: Didn't seem to get beat that much.
The rest of the team didn't do a damn thing.
And Marcus Pollard had the worst game we can remember a Seahawk having: a fumble that set up the go-ahead touchdown, a dropped TD pass, and a dropped pass on a sure first down that effectively finished the Hawks.
The happy memory, obviously, will be the 14-point lead the Hawks had after two Ryan Grant fumbles. In the next 56 minutes, the Hawks were outscored 42-6. Yipes.

Babineaux made some key plays. He was one of the few defensive guys I saw keep his hustle the whole game.
I weep. This is all I can do.
