Stay Home Thursday: Grey's Anatomy is Back

Thanks to those pesky, greedy writers (we kid because we love), we've all had to sit through crappy messes of annoying dating shows, shows about wanting to be a model, and shows where big, burly people duke it out on an obstacle course. There are a few oases, though, where shows filmed enough for a spring season before the strike got underway. One such light in the dreary tunnel of Seattle winter is Grey's Anatomy. Yes, ma'am, Christina, Meredith and their saucy male counterparts, the Mc's, are back this Thursday with an episode called "Lay Your Hands On Me." (To which we respond, "Okay, tell us where to put 'em.")

What we're about to say won't make any sense to you if you're not a Grey's-head. Suggested reading: That post with all the pictures of really tasty-looking sandwiches.

Okay, down to business. When last we left the folks at Seattle Grace, McDreamy had kissed someone who wasn't Meredith Grey, McSteamy was still failing at his attempt to bed the new cardio doc. George and Izzie were annoying and pathetic. Bailey's husband was being an inconsiderate needy man. Little Grey (as we like to call her) was beginning to redeem herself. And, Callie was finally growing her balls back.

In the sneak peek of this week's episode, it looks like something happens to Dr. Bailey's son and Christina suddenly has a heart. Could it be that the show is attempting to restore the delicate balance between drama and integrity that made it worth watching back in the day? Check it out:
