When we lived in LA we had no problem watching the Huskies play at Pauley Pavilion. We could just get in our car, hop on the 10, and presto, eight hours later we were in the building.
The first time we went, in 2003, the Dawgs needed to win in order to have a chance at the eighth seed in the Pac 10 Tournament. The last time we went in 2005 the fans were chanting "overrated," as the Sweet 16-bound Huskies were upset 95-86. Just one of the many reason we always unconditionally love Lorenzo Romar and Brandon Roy.
Tonight, however, it may not be that easy to view the game. It’s not on local television, so we will be heading out to watch the Huskies try and do what they’ve only done three times since 1960, win at Pauley Pavilion.
The game will be shown on FSN Prime Ticket, so you’ll have to find a bar or a friend that has the Fox Sports package. Sorry Fiddler’s and Roanoke, we love you but doubt that you get any channel above CBUT.
According to the person who answers the phones at these local drinking establishments:
The Ram at U. Village-- Showing the game.
Spitfire-- Showing the game.
The Village Pub-- Showing the game, however, this is a Wazzu bar, so be warned that it may be a trap.
Sport Restaurant-- We didn’t feel like sitting through the recording, or waiting around for more options.
The Duchess-- No answer, so we can only assume they are currently being robbed.
The number four ranked Cougs vs. OJ Mayo are on FSN at 8pm. The Huskies return to your living room Saturday at 3:30, if you’re not busy.
