Huge spike in traffic; Google figured it was click fraud and shut me down. They did eventually reinstate me, but kept hundreds of $$ of &quot;fraudulent clicks.&quot;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;You know, that&apos;s not a bad idea for a niche blog with documented readership, I have to say. You could be on to something. If I were, say, the Red Balloon Co. on 15th and I knew about CHS, a banner ad could be an inexpensive way of saying hello to the neighborhood. Or if I were Coastal Kitchen, announcing the latest menu switch. I bet blogs are terrifically undervalued, in relation to their targeted reach.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
