Saturday, Tera will give herself a VIP tour at the opening of Aritzia. She will follow this potentially hectic event by introducing a friend to her newest wine obsession - Twisted Cork. Sunday she will trek to Qwest and root for Chicago, uh, eh, oops...Seattle. Yes, root for the Seahawks.

Jack's heading to the Showbox proper tonight to see Canadian indie pop band Stars. Sunday, he's hoping to see Rex Grossman slip into old habits and deliver multiple turnovers to Seattle. It's a little sick, yes, but he wants to see Rex cry. Here's a decent preview.

If there's Trouble in Tahiti, MvB wants to see it for himself. Probably Saturday night. He's been told by CHS that Monsoon has the best brunch on 19th Ave. This Sunday a.m. will prove a reckoning.

Wedding bells are ringing in Charles' family. They're not for him this time (that was in July). This time it's for his mom, so it's a weekend of celebration on the farm in Oregon.

Friday night, it's farewell to Dom Zook. Saturday, James is stuck between the Devil and the wide-open spaces. The winning film? Whichever appeals to Mrs. Seattlest more.

Courtney will be flying back from Hawaii, crying the entire way.

In a rare expression of planets aligning, Kim has absolutely no plans for the weekend. She doesn't understand how this happened, so intends to spend her time sitting on the couch, playing "Home on the Range" on her guitar, watching the rain fall and maybe starting a craft project.

David S. will be sitting in between his Norwegian housemate and Turkish girlfriend for their huge Euro Cup qualifying match. Then he will reintroduce a friend to Seattle nightlife.

Now that Tom has gone back to get it Piled Higher and Deeper, he will continue his leisurely schedule of sleeping in, hitting the coffee press, and light reading. Previous weeks, it was Daniel Burnham's Final Report on the 1893 Columbian Exposition, Le Corbusier's whack-tastic vision of future urban planning, Jane Jacobs' wonderful The Death and Life of Great American Cities, and Venturi et al's Learning from Las Vegas. He can't exactly remember what's on this week's list, so if the weather cooperates, he'll probably get kicked out of University Village for taking photos in the name of research.

There's no history of animosity between Norway and Turkey--not, at least, until Saturday morning, when the countries' soccer teams face off in a must-win Euro 2008 qualifier. Seth will be watching on his TV. Tonight, though, it's cult-cha, at CHAC, with the Seattle Opera's Young Artists thing.

It's the Friday before Thanksgiving, so that means karaoke for Audrey at everybody's favorite still-unhipsterfied dive bar, the Beacon Pub. Sunday's a grudge match between two truly mediocre teams, in which she'll experience firsthand what it's like to be the only Bears fan at Qwest Field. Bear down!

Clint's never seen El Corazon. He'll spend the rest of the weekend cocking his head and asking, "What?"

Dan has some friends and family in from the Motherland for this weekend's Seahawks game to make sure he's rooting for the right team. Go Bears.

"Bear Snores On" by Jeff Blucher gives a taste of what will probably occur on Sunday, care of the Seattlest Flickr Pool.
