This upcoming Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the annual Phinney Neighborhood Association Winter Beer Taste. 26 different breweries will be there to pour some of their outstanding Winter beers to get us ready for the upcoming season.
Admission includes 10 samples and are $27 for the public in advance, and tickets at the door are $30. We've been told that this event usually sells out in advance, so it sounds like a good idea to purchase ASAP if you plan on going. We've never been, and actually can't make it this year. But, we've heard that this event is a great time that many of the brewers enjoy attending. The beer list has plenty to keep even the most seasoned beer nerds interested:

Around The -Ists This Week

Woo! 13 years in a row for me! Anyway, another reason to go is the huge spread of homemade cookies and treats and the end.
Hale's Coconut Porter? That's just wrong.
