Seattlest Trivia Wrapup: Our Throat Survived

goldenthroats.jpg Seventeen teams showed up at the Old Pequliar last night to see if our voice would give out. We managed to get through the evening without having a Peter Brady moment, but we're grateful to those of you who were willing to step up to the mic at a moment's notice.

We thought we'd produced a slightly more difficult quiz than usual, but we were proven wrong -- every team got 40 or more points, an outstanding effort. The top 4 teams earned 70+ points out of a possible 81. We'll have to come up with a few more questions that involve little-seen Paul Schrader films.

Werewolf Bar Mitzvah won the night with 74 points, taking home $100. NAMBLA Teaches Kids Not to Talk With Their Mouths Full wound up in second, at 72 points for $50. KOMO 4 Problerm Causers Will Keep Filing Frivolous Lawsuits Regardless and Dane Cook Can Lick My Vicious Circle tied at 70 points, with KOMO winning the tiebreaker to pocket $30. The S.L.U.T.s put forth a valiant effort and earned swag with their back-of-the-pack 40 points.

1) What 10-part documentary series shown on VH1 featured regular appearances by Lionel Richie, Traci Lords, Andrew Dice Clay, and Soleil Moon Frye?

Thanks for a great final quiz! I'm kind of surprised one of our team best scores only netted us 7th place!
