All of Seattlest will be struggling to remember that Sunday is the day we turn our clocks back one hour. We hope you remember too.
Kim is so much of a puppy-lover, that she’s donating her Saturday to the folks at Pasado Safe Haven. She’ll spend Saturday night helping her mandolin player and his girlfriend celebrate their new wood floors. Sunday is dedicated solely to NaNoWriMo.
The Cinerama is showing the super-extra-ultra-final cut of Blade Runner, and MvB is curious to see what 8000 lines-per-frame special effects looks like late on a Friday night. Then on Saturday, he's dropping in on Ghostlight Theatricals's production of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.
Seth's following the Huskies until they win a game. Saturday--at Stanford!
Since this is the start of slurp season in Seattle, Ronald will follow up on last Saturday's Oyster Frenzy at Flying Fish with a visit to Oyster New Year at Elliott's.
For real this time, Charles is planning a much-put-off trip to the Burke to see Yellowstone to Yukon and In Search of Giant Squid.
Her future will be decided in Mountlake Terrace this weekend when Katie treks too-far-north-for-comfort to take the GRE. Weeping or celebrating, she will distract herself Sunday by picking up her first CSA delivery and settling Catan, thanks to her new favorite Queen Anne store.
Donte's all about the drone metal tonight, as Jesu and Sunn o))) come to town to destroy eardrums. The rest of the weekend will be spent asking people to repeat things.
There's a Saturday night party calling James's name, but for much of the weekend he'll be writing next week's Seattlest trivia quiz (Tuesday, 8:00, Old Pequliar).
There will be oohing and aahing as Courtney watches Evidence Dance Company at the Moore on Friday night. Saturday is dedicated to beating back cruelly advancing freelance deadlines, and Sunday will be spent toiling over the stove making Goulash while David runs wild in gay SanFran.
Clint's going to enjoy his sneak peek at the long-awaited Nirvana Unplugged in New York DVD. And see American Gangster somewhere. As has become a Sunday habit, he'll peruse the West Seattle Farmers Market. (And he may see James at that party.)
After receiving and decoding strange galactic transmissions from the future, Jack will follow orders to rendezvous with New York math-rock group, Battles. Target: Neumos.
Finally, we'll all be wishing Katie luck on her GRE endeavour.
