Mighty Beneighborly Of You
Beneighbor.com is the questionably named site that lets condo-dwellers meet the people they share a wall with, and there's nothing questionable about that raison d'etre. Meet em, friend em, complain about the shoddy tile in the hall with em. Hey, maybe we can woo that little old lady who's been giving us the stink eye in Wallingford for the past half a decade. Seriously, our Real Life efforts ("Hi! How's it going!" Bitch.) have thus far been met with absolutely no spark of acknowledgment. But there's no relationship we can't build online...
So far Beneighbor only exists in select cities in Washington and Oregon. You pick a state, pick a city and (in our case) pick a condo development where you'd like to live. We picked the Trace Lofts up on Capitol Hill for no reason other than we've heard of them. One potential neighbor and one comment about the Lofts came up. Well...it's a "preview."
Every condo development in the city can't be in this drop-down either; there's only like 40 listed. There is an "add your building" link, so get in there, add your building and start gossiping with your condo neighbors about how you're going to overthrow the neighborhood!
Now, as soon as we can figure out where exactly that little old lady lives, we can start online stalking our way into her cold, cold heart.
