Non-gamers tended to scoff when the release of Halo 3 for the Xbox was labeled as "the most important entertainment event of the year" or whatever, but perhaps this will make them reconsider. The game has already inspired music!

Oh dear.
Well a couple of things.
1. Microsoft's offices in Seattle are nothing compared to Redmond. Redmond is not Seattle. They make Viso at Microsoft Seattle.
2. Bungie, the makers of Halo are not part of Microsoft anymore.
3. Bungie is actually in Kirkland in a former Home Depot store and they are building a giant sling shot there.
