Stalk of the Town: October 5-7, 2007

Kim is off to see Susan Werner at the Triple Door Sunday night.

This weekend is a toss up for Matt between going down to Portland for the final days of the Body World 3 show at OMSI or heading out west to the The 26th Annual West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship and Washington State Seafood Festival.

As previously noted, Seth is going to take The Grand Tour with George Jones at the Paramount.

Friday, MvB is gonna heckle Fleet Foxes at Chop Suey about their first album's elusive release date (and hear Sea Wolf and BOAT, too). Saturday he's taking in the 90-minute version of Crime & Punishment at CHAC.

Dan is in for a weekend of amateur porn, the centerpiece of which will be HUMP.

Courtney will be racing (and probably freezing her ass off) at the annual Methow Valley mountain bike festival in Winthrop.

Friday night Audrey will also be taking in the music of Sea Wolf at Chop Suey. Saturday she's hoping for a trip to Costco, fingers fucking crossed.

Ronald is in a dilemma (a rented dilemma, to be sure; he doesn't actually own one): whether to visit the cows in Carnation or on Whidbey. He may just throw up his hands and drink Deschutes beer at Havana.

Tom is headed out to Astoria, Ore were he will stroll the streets, sample fine fare, and undoubtedly discover buried doubloons. If the natives don't beat him up, he might just revisit Seaside and have a Herb's burger now that uncouth tourists like Jessica are mostly gone.

It's a weekend of birthday-related activities for Charles. Unfortunately, none of the celebrations are for his birthday, which is in December.

Rachael will be visiting rummage, baking an apple cake, eating it and reading Middlemarch.

This time around, Jack will be paying closer attention to the music of Built to Spill when he sees them on Saturday night at The Showbox (playing tonight as well). He doesn't remember a whole helluva lot about last time, as his wits were drowning in free winter brews.

James is going to the movies. Probably Eastern Promises, but he's sorely tempted to see the brilliant Sweet Smell of Success yet again. Match me, Sydney.

Tera will be buying plane tickets, perfecting her cupcake frosting talents while pining for an anti-war, pro cupcake tshirt. She might also break away for some hot yoga in Kirkland.
