Get Out: Free Sauna Time at Salon Dewi

If you're having trouble getting used to the gray days of fall, head over to Salon Dewi this weekend for a UV-infused pick-me-up.

This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we are offering complimentary trips to our UV - Infrared Sauna. This little hot box helps with the effects of SAD. It is also nice and toasty - it will help loosen up sore muscles and give you a mini break from your day!

As previously mentioned, we are big fans of saunas, and we had just been talking about heading back to Lynnwood's Newlife for our annual spa day, so we were glad to hear that we could get a mini-session in for free before braving the wilds of suburbia.

We're not so sure about all the purported effects of infrared saunas--among other things, a mIRacle Heat Sauna (UV Light Box) treatment is said to improve skin, burn calories, remove toxins, relieve pain, strengthen the cardiovascular and immune systems, reduce stress, and promote relaxation--but we do know that we feel somehow better, healthier even after spending ten minutes or so sweating it out in a sauna.
