Stalk of the Town: September 28-30, 2007

Because we know you want to know, it's your weekly look at what is keeping Seattlest engaged this weekend.

Sunday, James will try to look like a guy you want to watch question answers on TV for round two of the Jeopardy! audition process. He just might wear a tie.

Jack is heading to Fremont to watch superheroes brain themselves via the Red Bull Soapbox Race! Then, it's off to Chop Suey Saturday night for the "Awesome" CD release party.

Looking for a bit of culture, MvB is walking over to Volunteer Park Saturday afternoon, to hear some free chamber music at SAAM.

Kim is hanging out in Ballard to help celebrate the Sneakery’s one year anniversary.

It's officially autumn, so Jeremy is headed out to The Farm for the grand opening of their 2007 corn maze on Saturday.

Tom will be drilling the wax out of his head on Saturday so that he may better listen to the Seattle Phonographers Union's sonic performance on Sunday evening.

After watching the carnage in Fremont, Courtney may experiment Sunday with canning the surplus of tomatoes from her garden, though the canning process sounds a little nerve-wracking.

Donte is stalking Courtney and Jack by going to the Red Bull Soapbox Race and then stalking Charles as they both do some light cross-dressing at the annual wigs n skirts party.

Saturday, Rachael will be instructing her fellow pastry-lovers in the ways of eclairs and mille-feuilles at Sur La Table. Sunday, she's going to buy her first pumpkin of the season at the Ballard Farmer's Market.

Neither rain, nor sleet... Seth will be in the rain at Husky Stadium, watching the Dawgs try to use the power of the throwback jersey to defeat #1-ranked USC.

Ronald is going to drop in at the McCarthy & Schiering wine shop on Queen Anne to watch long-ago colleague Paul Gregutt autograph copies of his new book, Washington Wines: the Essential Guide. But because University of California press didn't send the promised review copy, you won't read about it here.

Matt is slaving away in the coal mines and possibly getting drunk with an Indian from Shelton if he bothers to show up.

Katie is going to New Zealand.

Mmmm, mille-feuilles. When I got back from France all excited about them, no one here seemed to know what I was talking about.
