Belltown Bazaar

Sidwalksale.JPG

Are we in White Center? Baghdad? No! We're at the former Sub Pop Records headquarters, 4th and Vine. Some kinda home furnishings store, Medallion Imports, selling crap on the sidewalk, for God's sake. What has Belltown come to?

Wait ... you make it sound like Belltown was cool at some point or something. It's pretty much always sucked. Or maybe you're bemoaning the fact that it's furniture spilling onto the sidewalk instead of tight-pant hipsters, shiny-shirt douchebags, or tube-top blondes?

All of the above, I think. And it used to be such a famous corner.

Dude, I love sidewalk sales.

where in white center can you buy stuff on the sidewalk?

I've lived in Belltown, Queen Anne, and now White Center. White Center is way less trashy and crime ridden than both, and you can get a good burrito and pho on the same block. But if you want to watch a bunch of drunks puking in the street or shops with crap who's earthly purpose is yet to be determined, Belltown and Queen Anne would be a great place to settle.

Yes where in White Center does this remind you of? Has Seattlest ever been to Baghdad or White Center? Doubtful.

Belltown is the 5th rung of hell to wtf (who the fuck) cares!
