Things we want to love, but never learned how to do: Cooking and kissing a girl with our eyes closed.
This has lead to our amazing idea. Every week we are going to pick a food from the city of the Seahawks opponent. Sunday morning we will buy the ingredients at a farmers market or major supermarket chain, and prepare the dish for the game.
Then at halftime we will throw our badly burned hands in the air and make hot dogs.
This week the Hawks play the mighty Bengals of Cincinnati.
Besides Les Nessman, overt racism, and stealing childhood heroes, the Queen City is known for its chili, specifically Cincinnati Chili.
This style appeals to us for many reasons, mainly because it contains no beans. In fact, the more we read about the stuff the more it reminds us of spicy pasta sauce-- seems like a perfect first step.
We'll report back on Monday (or next month, whenever the site is back up), and if you think you're so fucking great why not try and make the stuff as well. Then we can all compare notes as our fathers stare at us disapprovingly.

I worked at a Skyline Chili for a summer, only one shift a week (it was a supplementary job, of course). I had to take a 45-minute shower at the end of every shift to get the grease off me, and wash my uniform twice to remove the chili smell. I didn't even like chili! The job was fun though, and the tips were ok. $1 was a huge tip per table, but the turnover was so high that I'd end up with a decent haul for the night. Ah, those were the days...
