Absolutely No Vacancy

The art installation at the condemned hotel on Bridgewayin Fremont this weekend was a little too successful for its own good. Wow, packed. We had an easier time getting to the beer than seeing any art and only managed to fight our way through the crowd to get into a few rooms--one member of our party declined to climb the stairs at all since they were so slammed with would-be patrons. Porch collapses happen from time to time. Congratulations to the organizers and all the artists--obviously Seattle is hungry for this kind of event and we need some more of them. And cheers to the property owner who decided to do this rather than 1) nothing or B) a tear-down party.

This event felt like the party I've always wanted to throw but have been too afraid of the fire department and too unpropertied to actually do it. The bonfire was rad :D
