Were the Seattle chapter of the LaRouchie Doucheies there? Arn't they usually right around there to hand out their crazy LaRouche flyers?

Yep, the "better-than-Odwalla-which-isn't-saying-much" competitor was handing out bottles on Wed. in Steinbruek Park. And #3 was right, they were handing out "poundafruit!" juices like they were cheap paper flyers. I snagged two, and shook my head in embarrassment for the fools dressed as fruit marching around with signs performing their marketing/street theater shenanigans.

That said, I'm glad the powers that be realized that many of the Steinbruek regulars aren't getting enough fruit in their diet...

"viral marketing" is usually just as tastless and tacky as this, but it works to a certain degree.
They gave me three bottles of their "no sugar added" juice-crank with nothing as much as an acknoledgement. I drank one on the spot, one for breakfast this morning and one will get mixed with some ice cream and vodka later tonight. Not bad for free stuff, and i'm still not paying $4 for their smoothies.

That's so cold, Dan. It was a Naked Juice hoo-ha and you've referenced their competitor. Somewhere a marketing type is weeping into a skinny tall with vanilla.
