<description>&lt;p&gt;I am on the Kurt Cobain Committee, and we thank you for this article. It&apos;s nice to see that there are people out there supporting what we do. This concert in and of itself will not fully fund our actions, but the results of this show, and of shows in the future, will give us the opportunity to give back to the community in which Kurt was raised.

<description>&lt;p&gt;I grew up just outside of Aberdeen, and everyone I&apos;ve ever talked to about Cobain and Novoselic has said that Krist is really supportive of the community there... while he may not be involved with the truly grassroots KC Memorial Project, Aberdeen is as much a part of his story as it is Kurt&apos;s, and I feel that he has always honored that.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
