<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree with all the negative press this restaurant has received.  I&apos;ve eaten Italian food in a hole in the wall in NYC that&apos;s a third of the price that would blow this place away. I can see how someone who has not eaten delicious homemade Italian food before would like it but not a real foodie.  Also I don&apos;t know the owner but he made a total ass of himself on Chowhound.  Seems like a self righteous arrogent creep.  Also, Union sucks too.  Expensive and totally mediocre.  So in closing this guy is full of himself and his restaurants are more hype than substance.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Sounds like you&apos;re supporting Tavolata with your wallet if not with your reviews! After the first dried out pork chop on top of a bad Negroni, I&apos;d be spending my money elsewhere.
