What's weird is that the photo you chose as the replacement was taken by me!! Yep, I likes me some drinks. Those were poured at The Cyclops. And are you talking about the Twilight Exit, or that other Twilight? Twilight Exit is awesome cuz it's in the Hood, the juke box rocks, their fried chicken is to die for, and they have a heavy metal DJ with a smoke machine! Oh, and on Wednesday nights around 10pm, a local magician guy comes in and performs tricks for you at your table.

Be that as it may, I hear the point. Now we have nice innocuous drinks...which, consequently, look better poured than what I got a Twilight last Friday. Seriously, that chick didn't seem like she'd ever poured a drink before in her life. Yet no less than three people asked me for directions down there while I was at bars along First. Why is that place so popular?

It's actually more poignant for a non-problematic bar to be pictured considering that the point of the article is that Mayor Nickels would unfairly and short-sightedly penalized bars like Hooverville for the ass-mittenry of places like Tommy's.

Fair enough--apologies to Hooverville: never been there but know nothing bad to say about them. I'm on the good bars' (i.e., most bars) side, so I didn't want to offer any publicity to bad bars.

Why post a photo of Hooverville's sign if they weren't involved? You might want to rethink that one - it's pretty misleading!
