Use Bacon Salt to Win More Bacon Salt!

snakenbacon.jpgIt's been a few short weeks since we shared our friend's tasting notes on Bacon Salt. Since then, we're sure you've ordered several jars and whipped up any number of tasty bacon-salty recipes.

(That or you shrugged and read one of Seth's sports posts instead.)

But if you have incorporated Bacon Salt into your daily cooking routine, now's your chance to earn the best prize of all -- even more Bacon Salt. Because at a paltry page and a half's worth, the purveyors of Bacon Salt don't have enough recipes. So they're having a recipe contest:

In the last month, over 2,000 people in 18 countries have received Bacon Salt. That means that there have to be a zillion recipes by now. So to help people understand the wonders of Bacon Salt, we thought we'd host a little recipe contest. The prize? A year of free Bacon Salt, delivered to your door - and first crack at some of the new flavors we're working on (you'll drool when you hear them). We'll post some of the best ones here and on our website. Enter early, enter often - just enter!

Please email your recipes to: recipes@baconsalt.com. Pictures are always appreciated as well! We'll be judging these in our own test kitchen based on taste, originality and appearance.

The Bacon Salters even point to examples of good recipes and bad recipes. Take note.

Our prediction for new flavors? Canadian, black forest, and mint. We also predict they'll end up as a theme ingredient on Iron Chef America.
