Seriously though, the hooks under the bar are everywhere. I am generally disappointed when they AREN'T there. They should be ubiquitous.

Pretend hell. I want real naval battles on Lake Union and Lake Washington. Let's finally have it out with the Eastsiders. We've got Boeing field for air support, and can bring in naval reinforcements through the locks. Throw in a few artillery emplacements on Capitol Hill for good measure. Conscript the Steinbrueck crackheads for cannon fodder, and we'll finally have a decent 4th of July celebration.

See, public tours. That's what I'm talking about. Interaction and whatnot. Chances to pretend to fire huge guns at Wallingford. Planes whipping by overhead, that's more passive gawking.

i digress, i like airplanes (and loud noises). but maybe we could get other things in addition to the blue angels? i thought that there were navy ships (destroyers? carriers?) that were available for public tours the past few seafairs.

Hey guest, I'm sure there are people who hate the Blue Angels for being too noisy. Or polluting. Or for being militaristic and all. Or dangerous. Or expensive.

But frankly, I'm just bored with 'em. Always that same damn blue, always with the flying. *yawn* If we're going to celebrate Puget Sound's military traditions, I'd rather see them sneak a nuke sub through the locks. Now that'd be different!

dear world,

seattle hates the following things:

1) aerobatics shows featuring the blue angels (too noisy!)
2) people who follow all procedures to rent out public parks and have a private party, complete with fireworks (too exclusive [and noisy!])

please never send these things to our city again. we hate fun. and noise.

sincerely,
seattle
