Two of baseball's best young pitchers face off tonight at the local baseball yard: It's two-time Cy Young award winning lefty Johan Santana of the Twins against the M's fireballing, barely legal righty, Felix Hernandez.
There's national bragging rights at stake as well: Both Santana and Hernandez are Venezuelan. You can bet they'll be watching the matchup in the street of Caracas, unless Hugo Chavez has banned baseball as an imperialist tool.
Gametime is 7:05 at Safeco, where the temp should be about 70. If you watch on TV it'll be on FSN and (on Comcast) channel 664 in HD.

Does anyone know of ANY bike racks at Safeco?
According to the M's site:
"Safeco Field has secured parking for over 150 bicycles in the Safeco Field Garage located on Edgar Martinez Drive east of Occidental Avenue. There is no charge for bicycle parking. Additional bicycle racks are available next to the garage on the west plaza."
You might not see them since they are inside the garage. But, apparently, they are there!
Sweet. Thanks!
I have to say that biking to Safeco is THE way to go. A few of us biked to the stadium for last night's game, and in addition to getting through traffic quickly and paying zero for parking, we rocketed past all the SUVs stuck in traffic on the way home. The only downside was that we couldn't find any bike racks!
