Ah yes, those evil bicyclists, with their minimally polluting ways and health-friendly transportation. Why it just boils my blood when I have to wait several seconds before roaring by them on the road. Bastards. Why don't they realize how much better the world would be if they would all just get a car.

Do you seriously support his platform? He seems fixated on Seattle as it WAS, rather than what it could be. In order to protect the environment that most of us claim to love we will have to make Seattle more dense and more efficient. This includes more and cheaper housing options, which may include *gasp* townhomes. I rent a basement in Seattle, and probably the only chance I will have to own here is in a condo or townhome.

Finally, I wish everybody would quit picking on the skateboarders (I've never skated myself). We can't complain about how fat and lazy our kids are, then prevent them from getting one of the forms of exercise they actually like. Although if you elect Brown, maybe you can drive your kid to the one remaining skatepark in Seattle without all of those pesky bikes in the way.
