Get Out of Town This Weekend: Subdued Stringband Jamboree

stringbandjamboree.jpg
Two nights and one day of square dancin', bluegrass pickin', folk jammin' good times going down starting tomorrow evening up the road in Bellingham. The whole thing, as a matter of fact, kicks off with a 5 PM square dance tomorrow night, so if, unlike us, you can manage to make it to Bellingham in time for 5 PM, it'll be the perfect chance to practice your allemande-left.

As it were, we'll make it up there in plenty of time to catch Rachel Ries, who's coming all the way from Chicago to play this little festival. Also on the bill for the weekend: Knute Bell & the Blue Collars, the Gallus Brothers, Chuckanut Drive, Lonesome Shack, Feed & Seed, and more.

Fri-Sun 8/10-8/13 // Subdued Stringband Jamboree // $15-$30, plus $5 per tent for campers
