Took your advice and brought a couple of tortas over to Uber. Mmmm Mmmm good. The pineapple is indeed a nice addition (to several of their offerings), and the side of chipotles sauce is awesome. I think I've found a new ritual. Can't wait to try some of the other varieties. The decor of the place is actually pretty cool, too. Lots of pics from Mexico City, and the tables were all handmade in a variety of local themes. Loved it.

Went to this place yesterday on your rec. Good stuff. I did get the Barrigona, and it was good, but I think I'm going to try the Caribena next time. The sweetness of the pineapple will be a good addition, I think. My friend is looking forward to the Chorizo and Egg, one.

Might tortas be a Spanish euphemism for boobies? I don't know enought colloquial Spanish to say for sure.

I have actually gone to Federal Way just to eat at this place a couple of times. Duck Island and Uber Tavern are two of my favorite bars. Instead of driving to Federal Way, I can walk a few blocks on Aurora between pints...good news.
