Seattle: Bunch of Pussies

hardenup.JPGKOMO4 weather has a poll going about Seattleites' "preferred summer temperature."

We voted for the 80's but it seems most of Seattle pollsters prefer a more docile 70's.

Harden the fuck up Seattle.

Right on, Jack. The 70s are nice for spring, but you know it's summer when you get a stretch of days in the 80s.

Yes, I'm good for 80. Don't just hint at heat (70) rachet it up (80), heck, I'm even good with the days in the 90s.

Go back to Phoenix, you heat fascists!

If I sweat just sitting still, it's too hot. Apparently that magic number is 78 degrees.

I cannot wait for fall.

The problem with the 70s is that it's still too damn cold at night. Don't get me wrong, I like cooler evenings, but it'd be nice to have a cocktail outdoors after sunset without donning a fleece!

If KOMO had asked this question one month ago (11 JUN), when the high temperature was 63 and the low was 48, I'm sure that most of the respondents would have wanted 80 degrees.

seattle should probably harden up since the summer's are only likely to get warmer.

to jack from seattle, shut the fuck up!

want it hot? move someplace with summer temps in the 80s. after growing up in the florida heat i want 75 degree summers which is why i moved here.

Am I the only one that thinks the using the term "pussies" in a negative light in this modern-day world is slightly unacceptable? I enjoy pussy. I do not call other people pussies.

Jack - You are right ON about the weather and the people here. It's like they have no idea what warm is. I think the rain has seeped into their brains.
