We've Got A Theory. It Could Be Bunnies!
Back when Buffy (BtVS, that is) was on, our clan would gather on Tuesday nights to recap the week before, watch the new episode, and speculate wildly about where things were going next. We rotated hosting duties. We can't think of a TV show since that glued us all together like that (even the seventh season, which glued us mainly in disbelief that it was ending).
But one evening we turned on Buffy and it was a musical -- "Once More With Feeling." It was, simply put, the best thing ever.
Tonight and tomorrow, it's the midnight movie at the Egyptian, as part of a tour thought up by the Uncool Kids. (Apparently in L.A. Joss Whedon showed up and his first words were, "Um, you guys…Dawn’s okay." No, Joss, no, she's not.) Tickets are $12. You still have time to prep for the sing-along -- here's a site with the lyrics, just to refresh, you know, we're sure you know them by heart. And you'll know that when Dawn sings:
Does anybody even notice?...that no one does. We hear some other bloggers are going to be there. It's not quite a dance-off, but we're warming up, running scales. We'll be ready.
