Shh, don't tell the rest of the country please! How the hell am I supposed to afford any Yukon River if the Rowley keeps elevating them to national cult status? Sheesh...

Rowley says the first Yukons should be available in Seattle by Monday. Look for them at Metropolitan Market, Central Market, Mutual Fish, Uwajimaya and (maybe) Whole Foods.

Mutual Fish occasionally has Yukon. Give em a call: (206) 322-4368 There are lots of salmon waters to celebrate -- because of family connections, I'm partial to the Kenai River. Support an alternative fishery!

I concur. I had some Yukon River salmon from Metropolitan Market Queen Anne last summer and it was perfect. Definitely better than Copper River. Only a matter of time for marketers to take a hold of it...
