Carlile Rocks It with a Light Saber

We said we would make it to see Brandi Carlile at the Moore last Friday, if for no reason other than to continue our quest to figure out what it is about her that everyone loves so much. But alas, we wound up celebrating someone's 10th reunion at Princeton instead. So we were sitting on an ivy-strewn lawn in central Jersey on Friday when Carlile reportedly kicked a lot of ass at the Moore.

Naturally, we hit up YouTube as soon as we returned to see how the show went, and found this. Keep watching at least long enough to catch the chick with the light saber dancing around the stage. It makes perfect sense:

Carlile: We'll be at the zoo, expecting a saber dance. Seattle music fans: sorry, the Zoo show (June 27) is sold out already. You people are nuts about some Brandi Carlile.
